‌New Progress in the Theory and Application of Partial Differential Equations" Academic Conference Successfully Concluded

From December 12 to 15, 2025, the "New Progress in the Theory and Application of Partial Differential Equations" academic conference was successfully held at Wuhan University. Hosted by the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Wuhan University and the National Center for Mathematics (Tianyuan) in Central China, the event brought together over 100 experts and scholars from prestigious institutions such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

On the morning of December 13, Professor Hua Chen, Chair of the Organizing Committee, officially opened the conference. Professor Huijun Fan, Dean of the School of Mathematics and Statistics and Executive Director of the National Center for Mathematics (Tianyuan) in Central China, delivered a welcome speech, expressing his enthusiasm for the gathering and its potential to foster new ideas in the field.

During the conference, 28 experts presented their latest research on topics including geometric analysis, nonlinear elliptic and parabolic equations, and related applied models. Each session featured rigorous discussions, with participants actively engaging in debates on methodologies and future directions.

The event served as a high-caliber platform for academic exchange, furthering consensus on the development of partial differential equations and contributing significantly to the advancement of mathematical sciences.
